The Fresh Griller Story

After spending the last 30+ years in the restaurant business, running and building companies in fast food, sit down restaurants and everything in between, a couple of guys decided that not much had changed in the way things are done and how food is made. The result was boring food, boring flavors, and too much processing. The excitement that they had when they began was starting to fade, just like the flavors and the benefits of the food they found in most restaurants.

So they embarked on a bunch of testing and experimentation in test kitchens to create the food that they thought would taste great and bring back the excitement about food that they once had when they started 30+ years ago.

These guys looked far and wide, across this great country to figure out what was missing and how to make it better. These road trips took them through lots of big cities and small towns, traveling and testing foods from big brands and small roadside farm stands.

Heck, they even decided to take their road trip to other countries, and spend a few years traveling the world looking for that special something that would get them re-energized about food once again.

After all of these travels, they collected their notes and their thoughts. The answer was sitting in front of them all along. It wasn’t some magic ingredient or special spice, it wasn’t a foreign cuisine never eaten before, it was far more obvious and simple.

In the foods that they experienced, in this country and any other. The best food was always freshly prepared, using high quality, fresh, simple natural and seasonal ingredients. They always had the brightest colors, intoxicating smells and exciting flavors. The best tasting food always had the least number of steps and processing from the farm to your fork.

And so was born the idea for Fresh Griller! We wanted to take these great ideas of simple, fresh, natural foods and flavors and combine them into great tasting foods. Funny thing happened along the way. It was actually a lot better for you!
